weekend roundup

Too tired to post really. Says a lot about the quality of my work today - inspired. Honest guvnor.

So what's been happening - thursday night went to the gordon ramsey place and realized why he's a very rich man, both the food and the overall experience were fabulous. Became farcical at the end when the loud scottish girl sitting two tables down disappeared into the storeroom with the italian sommelier who jodi knew... prompting her to storm in there after them in some fit of morality (he's got a girlfriend) - leaving the rest of us in fits at the table.

Friday morning woke up at stupid o'clock to be at the yacht club for 9am, sailed all day, finally staggering back into the club at about 5.30, tired and a bit sunburnt, but pretty happy. Getting better at watching the boat and feeding back info to the skipper, plus had new sails and a rigger on board so we sailed well - came second. Retired to Toby's jacuzzi, disrupted by the art marine crew and their dolly birds later in the evening though, at which point departed.

Baby shower at the Ritz on saturday - lovely but seriously overwhelming - three birds with bumps and three brand new babies... and six of us staring from the sidelines in horror!!! I hadn't thought that one through at all, for some reason hadn't equated baby shower with actual babies?? Daisy's daughter ruby was adorable when not screaming, and the other lady who's name I dont' remember was sporting mini skirt that would have fit me aged twelve, with a two month old slung over her arm. Not fair... at all.
