Today my boss dropped a bombshell, not one I can really talk about just yet, but one that will definitely change my newfound sense of stability, calm and overall chilllllll. It was too good to last.
Otherwise, I somehow convinced dad to be my driver at lunch today, and visited the bank to get a bit of paper stamped that will allow me to set up standing orders in 3 days, visited Emaar to pay one man for a bit of paper to hand to another man in another office who gave me a bit of plastic that allows me in to my building, and put some cash in to an envelope and pushed it in to a hole in the wall funding my existence for the next ten days. An entirely successful, if not slightly random, sequence of events.
